Many exude a depth of charm and character and provide insight into the events and characters responsible for shaping the region. Similarly, there are a proliferation of artists resident in an abundance of galleries and studios within the Cotswolds, many manufacturing their fare following age-old methods, now the stuff of folklore. Stroud’s annual ‘Site’ open day attracts over 80 local studios making it one of the largest events in the Cotswolds for those with an appreciation and passion for local art.
